Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), Uthal, Balochistan is a public sector university, recognized and approved by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Applications are invited from nationals of Pakistan for the following posts, Details of pre-requisite qualification for the said posts are as under Faculty Staff required for University(on Contract Basis likely to be regularized. Subject Eligibility Criteria 1 Professor a. Chemistry b. Anatomy & Histology c. Veterinary Pharmacology d. Veterinary Medicines e. Pakistan Study f. Sociology g. Journalism h. English Linguistics(Research Methodology) i. Marine Biology j. Physical Oceanography k. Geology I. Business Administration Ph.D. from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field. 15-years teaching / research in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. Note: After 30" June 2010, at least 8 years Post Ph.D level experiences in an HEC recognized University for post graduate institution or professional experiences in the relevant filed in a National or International Organization will be required. OR 10-years post Ph.D teaching / research experience in a recognized University a post graduate institution or professional experiences in the relevant field in a National or International organization. Publications: The applicant must have 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last five years) in HEC recognized journals. 02 Asistant Professor a. Chemistry b. Anatomy & Histology c. Veterinary Pharmacology d. Veterinary Medicines e. Pakistan Study f. Sociology g. Journalism h. English Linguistics(Research Methodology) i. Marine Biology j. Physical Oceanography k. Geology I. Business Administration PhD in relevant field ( no experience required) OR First class Master's (foreign) or M.Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degree in relevant field awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC, recognized university / institute by HEC and 04 years teaching / research experience in the relevant field from HEC recognized university, or a post graduation institution or professional experienoe in the relevant field in national or international organization. 03 Lecturer a. Chemistry b. Anatomy & Histology c. Veterinary Pharmacology d. Veterinary Medicines e. Pakistan Study f. Sociology g. Journalism h. English Linguistics(Research Methodology) i. Marine Biology j. Physical Oceanography k. Geology I. Business Administration First dass master's degree in relevant field from HEC recognized university / institute (with no third division in the academic career).
